Will I lose my benefits?

Your benefits are important.

The employment consultants at Employment ACTion are able to counsel you on the various options available to you as you (re)enter the workforce, transition from ODSP or change from one employer to another.  There are often several options available to you depending upon your unique circumstances.  We will explore each with you, ensuring that you are able to make the best possible choice.

These include:

  • Maintaining income benefits if you work part-time
  • Maintaining drug coverage if you come off of ODSP income supports
  • Reapplying for rapid reinstatement of benefits, if necessary
  • Accessing extended benefits from ODSP if your new job does not provide them
  • Applying for the Ontario Trillium Drug Plan
